As a side note…I think PEI rivals France as my favorite place on Earth.
And I think PEI may come out on top. If the opportunity ever arises to ge there and live/pastor/farm…I am gone.
As a side side note, we started watching Anne of Green Gables again…for the 42nd time.
So…only the Fonz showed up to Bible Study last night…but it was still awesome. It seems people only want to come if we are studying Proverbs, which is silly. Either that, or they are offended I didn’t hang up the creepy picture of Jesus they brought in.
Either way…get over it.
We are in the worst financial position we have ever been in (as a family) and we are praying for a miracle. Some things have happened and people have said things about us in a round-about-sort-of way…with their theories as to why. But, we are trusting God to come through.
Cool thing, though. Last night, we didn’t really know what to have for supper…there wasn’t much to choose from…and we decided we’d sacrifice and get some pizza. I put on a random jacket I hadn’t worn in a while, and in the pocket was $15…just enough to buy some pizza, crazy bread, and a jug of water.
See? God cares. It was just His way of letting us know He’s got our back.
We shall overcome.
Amazes me how people think that just because Jesus never mentioned a subject personally in the scriptures, that all the rest of what the Bible says on it is somehow irrelevant.

Healthy
The last few months have been a wreck for eating. So we decided that today, we’d go grocery shopping and make some changes.
If you didn’t know, I hate lettuce. Hate it. So, I would never eat salad. However, I have recently discovered that I do not mind the taste of spinach (raw). So, we decided to take a gamble and buy a lovely spinach salad kit. It had baby spinach, roasted almonds, dried cherries, blue cheese crumbles, and a delightful balsamic vinaigrette. We added strawberries, too.
And….
I loved it. Honestly, it was amazing. I was so impressed. I can see myself getting more into the veggies now. Usually, I just devour fruit and stay away from vegetables.
We also had red pepper soup.
I feel good.
What other kinds of weird veggies have a surprising good taste?
